As Amy begins this week, it’s a topic on something everyone thinks something differently for themselves.  So, some examples are given about how the root of self care begins to slip.  Where does that idea of “self care” start to loose traction?  Amy explains with some personal thoughts and then reveals the possible outcomes if you don’t take care of a few things first.

It’s the old. and yes…way over used idea of “putting your mask on first” on an airplane if the cabin looses pressure.  Simple reason for that is that if you don’t and the oxygen becomes too thin…..you won’t be able to assist anyone else in an emergency.  The same applies for anyone’s mental health and the necessity for prioritizing it.  If life is a continual stir for you due to any number of habits that can be corrected, it’s time to take heed to what Amy is talking about this week and learn some coping skills.  If you are depleted of the ability to rationally understand that you are in some turmoil, inner or outwardly, it’s a sign that you could maybe use a hand.  From there, maybe it’s on to a couples journey and in that, the removal of the stigma that seeing a counsellor is a pretty healthy and amazing experience where you can learn, grow and evolve.
