We’re in to our 4th week of Mindful Movements with Swenja Tanner on Muskegon, Better.  If you didn’t get the chance to meet Swenja on the interview we did with her on the Muskegon Channel, well link that up down below, but suffice it to say, Swenja is one of the most adventurous you’ll ever come across and the idea of how she just decided one day to let go of the 9 to 5 world and work for herself, speaks volumes to her passion and strength.

This the morning energy episode and it’s one you might like to save for the future because it’s a little longer than normal and it’s also much more of an all encompassing approach to the discipline of the practice of yoga.  Plenty of breathing combined with arms, legs hips and back will be a great way to get some blood moving around, that digestive system moving and the time you spend in the practice is a great opportunity for the self care we al should be able to do better at.

If you are new to yoga, don’t feel that you have to be able to achieve the level that you see here.  Some reduction in movement is fine tailored to your ability.  Like any of the fitness things you see, it’s always a great idea to speak to a physician before you begin and always remember the importance of plenty of water and healthy eating habits that accompany better life choices.
