A hopeful Saturday has begun. Welcome to Mindful Movements Yoga with Swenja Tanner on Muskegon, Better. This week, Swenja is inviting you in to share the peace and tranquility while she’s also going to demonstrate some essential moves that will help your back and your belly. Let’s set the tone a little and begin week 7. Deep breath, and push play.
One key pattern we have weekly is the beginning of the practice. Breathing. In and out. Set the tone of your encounter. Slowly, shifting to rocking your legs and hips back and forth, then up and down. As the motions progress and you do more with Swenja over time, know that it will be easier, but for now go as far as you can while making sure you don’t injure anything. These are all very personal experiences and they are also life long practices, if you’re new…..don’t rush it. About half way through this week, we’ll flip over and do some work on the front, or….is she doion work on he back from the front or a combination of the two? Dig in and find out!
