Save the date for Muskegon’s third annual Pride Festival! The event will kick off with the 2nd annual Pride Parade at 10:30 am down W. Western Avenue, in the heart of downtown Muskegon. This years Pride Festival will be complete with local artists and some of the best food in Muskegon, as well as live performances by local entertainers and headliner Ada Vox. Come enjoy all the love and pride Muskegon has to offer to its community! We look forward to seeing you there!

The event begins Friday night May 31st with a swing dance on the deck of the LST 393 and continues on to Saturday when there will be a number of activities going on.  From reenactments of battles to an actual simulated attack on the LST itself by the local flying team the Hooligans, you’ll see fist hand just how fearsome the war was and what it meant to send the Greatest Generation to free Europe and begin the ending of WW2.

The delight of foodies from far and wide.  Taste of Muskegon returns to fill our park and out bellies with the incredible work of our local culinary crafters.  There’s every flavor you can think of and plenty of beverages to wash it all down.  Lots of incredible live music and plenty of time to connect with friends and neighbors.

A fun midway and a chance to spend some time playing all the classic carnival games and enjoying the delicious food that you can only find at a carnival.  Candy apples and cotton candy will tempt your taste buds while the sound of laughter and rides fill the air.  It’s a classic Michigan summertime treat!

Artisans and crafters from the Midwest converge on Hackley Park and Downtown Muskegon to show off their creations and enjoy the weekend filled with eye catching displays and wonderful smells from the food trucks.  Plenty to see and do and lots of great music to compliment the experience.
